In order not to lose the obtained results by the MNITherapy, also for babies and little children a few specific ergonomic rules are to be considered
- Sleeping position
Never let a baby or a child sleep on their stomach, but always on their back or on their side.
When they are awake they can lay prone while playing which is helpful in reinforcing the muscles of the back.
- Lifting
Never lift a baby or a child under the armpits ! There is a risk in blocking the upper ribs and upper dorsal vertebrae which in turn can overstimulate the autonomic nervous system.
Lift a child with one hand under the pelvis and the other hand under the head to avoid a hyper extension of the cervical spine with subsequent blockades
As soon as they are strong enough and when they can sit well, you can lift them up by the loins.
